Sometimes it feels as if we're having our own baby boom here at Core Therapies. Lots of new babies joining the practice lately...yes, newborns and infants of all ages can benefit from chiropractic care.  Dr. Melissa takes a look at "Baby's First Adjustment" in this month blog post. (On mobile devices, access the blog by going to Patient Resources on the home page.)

And speaking of babies, Dr. Meagan is getting read to return from her maternity leave. Beginning September 5th, she will be in the Florham Park office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays 3-6PM.  We can't wait to have her back!

The office will be closed on Labor Day (September 4th). We hope you're enjoying these last days of summer and look forward to seeing you soon.

Recipe of the Month

Easy Roasted Cauliflower (credit to Detoxinista)  

Ingredients:

  • 1 large head cauliflower, chopped into small florets
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive or (melted) coconut oil
  • Sea salt & black pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350F and arrange the cauliflower florets into a single layer on a large rimmed baking sheet. (You may need to use two pans to fit them into a single layer, depending on the size of your cauliflower and baking sheets.) Drizzle the cauliflower with the oil and use your hands to toss the cauliflower directly in the pan, making sure to rub and coat the vegetables evenly in oil. Sprinkle generously with sea salt and pepper, as desired.
  2. Place the pan(s) in the center of the preheated oven and roast for 35 to 45 minutes, until the cauliflower is golden and tender enough that it is easily pierced with a fork. (The smaller you chop the florets, the faster they cook - so, the smaller the better!)
  3. Serve immediately and enjoy!
