Interactive Metronome (IM) is a brain based rehabilitation program that helps strengthen motor planning and sequencing. Originally used as a device to help musicians with timing, language formation and balance. Beneficial for athletes as well as anyone suffering from Sensory Integration Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Learning Disabilities, Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinsons Disease, and safe for all ages.
Over the course of the treatment, patients learn to:
• Focus and attend for longer periods of time
• Increase physical endurance and stamina
• Filter out internal and external distractions
• Improve ability to monitor mental and physical
actions as they are occurring
• Progressively improve coordinated performance.
